Hello,


I currently own the HL-S5087W Samsung 1080p DLP TV. I love the TV but I notice some pixelation on some of the HDTV channels. Can someone who owns this model give me some good recommended settings? Thanks. Here are my current settings:


Digital NR - On

DNIe - Off

Mode -standard

Contrast - 70

Brightness - 50

Sharpness - 10

Color - 50

Tint - G50/R50

Color Tone - Cool 1

Some people would say search, and its all in the official samsung xx87 thread. Anyways, here is my unprofessionally calibrated settings:


Digital NR - Off

DNIe - Off

Mode - dont remember

Contrast - 45

Brightness - 52

Sharpness - 0

Color - 45

Tint - G50/R50

Color Tone - Warm2

I found that movie setting is the best but i still calibrated it to no Digital NR or no DNIe.

Also, turn down that contrast to and you'll see less noise.
