How should i use the D-EXT feature of the HLD-X9? Somewhere i read

i should turn it on for US Laserdiscs somewhere else i read that

it increases dynamic range? I have noticed that when truned on the

player does not output blacker than black information.

Hi Wild,


At first I didn't use it, as my brightness setting was low on the display and i liked the result. Since a new laserhead was fitted, I use it constantly but have raised the brightness setting accordingly. WWIW.
