I have had the 43" model for about 8 months and I have been noticing its operational "hum" so to speak seems to have gotten louder. At night, with the volume down low, I can clearly hear it.


Can someone tell me if this is normal? If no, what is usually the cause of the problem, and can it be fixed?

It's either the color wheel or the fan. If's it's very loud, call Samsung service. If it's just low in the background, especially when the volume is low at night, that's probably the normal sound and there's not much they can do about it.

I definitely hear it even during the day though it is much more noticeable at night with the volume low as you say. I will give Samsung a call.
