HLN567 Problem...

I've had this TV for over a year, and I just had something pop up. It has lines in areas where there is a shading graduation. Kind of hard to describe, but it looks like a topographical map with gradient lines at times, instead of a smooth transition of the tone. It is especially noticeable on some faces, and also on something like a wall. And it just started out of the blue in the last couple of days.

Anyone know what this is, or what the problem might be?

Sounds like it's time for a service call. Did you buy an extended warranty?

You might want to try re-booting your STB. Does this happen on all inputs?

Yeah, it should still be under warranty. And I should unplug the sat receiver just in case, but it does happen on DVD's as well (different inputs, of course).

Just kind of a weird thing. Probably something going funny in some kind of processing chip or something, I guess.
