I was just looking back at some scenes from CES and noticed that Alienware (and whoever manufactures for them), have come up with a curved LCD monitor, probably for gaming purposes, that actually surrounds you as you are in front of it, giving you the impression that you're in the game that you're playing. Now, having seen that, it leads to mind that, I'm wondering if this will eventually make its way into HDTVs anytime soon. Maybe not LCD, but maybe doing this with OLED would pretty much be the way to go eventually between 5 - 10 years from now. It would probably be nice to have surround video to go along with the surround sound, imo. Right now, the best thing is to go with a large-sized screen at a smaller viewing distance to even come close to that effect. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, here's a pic of that curved monitor...

Having this in an HDTV eventually would pretty much make for a different way to experience home theater, imo.
