As I said, the maximum standard size in the textile industry is a 54" wide roll and manufacturing size. This stuff is intended for 'human body fabric covering' manufacturing, hence the maximum 54" roll design system. 60" design increases the manufacturing runs considrably. The equipment for such cannot really go beyond that size.
Even the equipment and such for designing the machines for the creation of the fabrics, are limited to being for the manufacture of machinery that has this 54" sizing situtation.
Yes, I have looked directly into it, and made the right enqires with the right people. Anything else than the 54" sizing gets BRUTALLY expensive... going from 54" to 60" equals twice the costing structure, for instance.
