I'm not building a dedicated home theater, but I am remodeling a basement home office, replacing the lame-o paneling and drop ceiling with drywall.

Given my desire to incorporate a decent two-channel setup in this room at some point, is there anything special I should do before the drywall goes up to improve the acoustics?

The room is approximately 16'x12'. An air-return duct runs along the ceiling. It's exposed now, but will be covered with drywall when I'm done.

Three of the walls adjoin interior rooms. There's probably no insulation behind the paneling. The fourth wall is exterior and underground.
