Anyone have experience with this setup. I'm strongly considering it, especially since it has a 30 day return guaranty. How about the subwoofer that comes with the Level 2, do you like it (if you have it)?

I cannot answer your specific questions, but I'm responding because I purchased seven sets of HTD's "best quality" ceiling speakers. I used six sets in my whole-house music system and the seventh set as the rear speakers for the 7.1 system in my dedicated HT (my other speakers are Rockets). I built sealed enclosures for all the HTD speakers. For the price, they sell a good product and provided quick service. I'm pleased. Based on my experience, I'd recommend them.

Good luck on your decision and purchase.

I have the "old" L3 set, and it performs very well. I have a relatively small HT (18' x 12') and they perform very well for such a low priced setup.

the L2 sub is a bit small and lacking, and the L3 is a bit better. You might be better off with an L2 set, and a 3rd party sub.

I have used/heard the L2 sets as well...good speaker for the money!

I in fact order the L2 set, but upgraded to the L3 subwoofer. Not to happy with the L3 subwoofer, so I've got a SVS 25-31pc1 coming on Monday - can't wait for it to arrive.

So I'll definitely be returning the L3 sub. Still not sure about the L2 speakers, I may return those also. I'll wait to see how they sound with the SVS sub.
