I'm looking for a home theater package. The package must include a 2.1 system. 2 speakers with a subwoofer. Not those computer speakers please. A receiver with HMDI port is also required. with DTS decoding. I will use this setup in a medium size bedroom. My budget is around $300. So any recommendation?

ok thanks for the suggestions.... the reason my budget is only $300 because I only need a simple setup 2 speakers and 1 sub.

If I had $600, I would just buy the onkyo 5.1 home theater package.

that would be a mistake, because the Pioneer speaker are better than the Onkyo speakers. There are much better options at $600 than a HTIB.
