Setting up a new system and would like some honest advice on what I have "hopefully" chosen. I am from Alberta.


Sony 60"XBR LCD W/bush stand or simular

Denon 3803

Denon DVD-2200

HSU VTF-2 Sub

Energy Connoisseur C7 Front

Energy Connoisseur CR-3 Rear

Energy Connoisseur CC-1 Center


Any changes? I have decided to go with the Denon dvd-2200 and forgo a dedicated cd player, I do not need a 5 disk. And the sound should be great.

Open to all critisim or help here! It is a tough decision!

Thanks, now... not to start this thread into a peeing a match, but what about going to a SVS sub?? What about the c1 center and c1 rear over the c3's? c5 mains or the c7's?

I hear that people that have an SVS sub, are real happy with them. I've never heard one.

I'm not familiar with the other speakers you mentioned...........

Ok, I need to stop reviewing reviews!!! What about Axiom speakers? Paradigm speakers?? Both have excellent reviews. I enjoed my current system, just would like a little more punch and more full sound than my Encores.
