I am in the process of building an HT and the space for the seating is approximately 8' 6" wide x 9' deep. Ideally i would like to have a total of 8 seats that are comfortable. The back 4 will be on a riser. As I look at actual HT seating the prices seem very expensive. I have a budget of about $2,800. Any ideas or links that can help? Thanks for any help possible.

Do a search for theater seats and you will find info. If you want real theater seating, you can pick them up for around 45 a seat plus shipping. Depends on what type seating you are interested in.
