Total cost around - $400

Or

Pioneer bs41 for Rear

Pioneer SP-C21 for center

Pioneer SW-8 or Energy S10.3 for Subwoofer

Total cost around - $400

Please suggest how shall i go with ???

And what receiver do you have? Thats gonna be a big factor on if you can power what you're trying to push.

Thank you for your reply  ..

should i simply go with Energy Classic 5.1 or Klipsch 600 or 300 OR Boston Acoustic 5.1

Out of that group, I would rank them in the following order: Energy. Boston, Klipsch ...

The Pioneer and Polk Monitor setups you are considering will do better than small satellite speakers.

Out of the subs you have listed in your original post, the only one worth getting is the Energy S10.3. Do you already have it? They stopped making them a couple of years ago. What is your sub budget?

For new subwoofers in the $200 price range, the BIC F12 or Dayton SUB-1500 would be my choices. Unless you can find the Energy S10.3 used for under $200. It's a very good sub.

I am new so sorry if i am asking silly questions...

Is bookshelf or tower front speakers are better ?
Really depends on the looks you want

Bookshelfs with a subwoofer will perform just as well as towers by themselves in more cases.

Stickign with bookshelf speakers lets you spend alittle more on quality speakers

That's an excellent setup for that budget. I don't see how you could do better for ~ $400.

The sub in that package is the weak link. But otherwise, that's the newer revision of the Pioneers that has better SQ AND has the towers.

If you can buy the speakers separately, and then add a different sub, I would definitely go with that. There is a dedicated discussion thread on AVS for the Andrew Jones speakers , and people there could probably help you find the best values on buying separately.

Or shall i increase my budget and just go for as suggested by  Acousticality

Why that is the better route to go as the second version of their pioneer speakers sound so much better the subwoofer with the towers is a bit on the low-end

I would choose

-2 pairs of Pioneer SP-BS22-LRs , $126.99

- Pioneer SP-C22 Center , $79.99

- Bic F12 Subwoofer , $199.99 -or- Dayton Sub-1500 Subwoofer , $179
