I'm looking to buy a set of 5 speakers for my home theater. I'm hoping to pay less than $10K, but if I find the right speakers, I may be willing to spend $15K.


My system includes a Lexicon DC-1, Parasound 1206, Velodyne sub, and a Sharp LCD projector. My system is used for movies (20%), computer games (30%), TV (10%), and music (40% - mostly background), but movie sound is the priority for me.


The only speakers I've looked at so far are the Linn 5100 series. What other speakers should I consider? Thanks!

You should consider the Snell XA series. I am very happy with my 5 channel system. Their web site is www.snellacoustics.com.
