That's one, newguy, and there's another one I know of, it's called AVIA.

Avia is good, there is also Video Essentials and just recently released Digital Video Essentials.

Thanks to all for responding.


To summarize:

Avia - $35.00

Digital Video Essentials - $17

Soundvision Home Theatre Tuneup - $17


Which one would you recommend? Why is Avia so expensive?

one other thing.. Does Avia support DTS and 6.1 formats? The last release of this DVD was in 1999!!

Avia and S&V are both made by Ovation. Avia does have a few more Bells & Whistles," but the S&V disk works just fine.

DVE is the only full featured, consumer targetted, set-up disc that I know of that supports DD and DTS 6.1.


There may be some pro discs that also do, but they woukd be a bit pricey.
