I'm having some difficulty connecting all of these together, and getting the sound from the HT at all times.

TV: KDL52S4100

HT: DAVHDX975

Blu-ray: BDPS350

and a cable box

I've connected them this way:

Blu-ray player to TV: HDMI

Cable box to TV: HDMI

Blu-ray player to HT: optical audio

Cable box to HT: digital audio (red and white)

HT to TV: component video

Is this the correct setup? If not, what is the best setup to have all speakers working with any of the components?

Thanks.

Cable Box to HT is analog stereo, not digital, if you are using the red/white cables.

If you are running video direct from the devices to the TV, the component connection from HT to TV will only be useful for configuring the theater system. There are no other video sources being routed through the receiver.

So, what isn't working?
