Hook-up wiring sources

1035 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Grimdeath
I'm trying to source some 14 AWG hook-up wire for modifying an amp, but I don't seem to be having much luck. Parts Express doesn't carry anything other than 16 AWG. Would someone steer me toward an online source for the stuff. I'm not looking for anything fancy and I only need about twenty feet.

Thanks folks. I tried HD and all they had was some tinned copper stuff and THHN which is too stiff more my use. I'll check out the local Radio Shack today, although I dread going into the place. They always try to sell me a cell phone and I'm expected to give them my life history every time I buy something.
Try a local electronics hobby store.

HD carries all the Carol lines as well as the premium RCA digital 14-guage. Did you check the wire rack as well as the coax/phone area (this is where the RCA stuff is)?

It makes absolutely no sense, I know; credit that to RCA marketing.
