I want to hook up my pc to my Sony RP crt to try out some games. I'm using a nvidia 6800 video card with dvi out and my tv is the KP46wt520 which has an HDMI input. I already know that I will need to get a dvi to HDMI adapter. However, I've heard that a custom resolution and refresh rate to get it to work properly (via powerstrip). Does anyone have any experiences with this tv? It supports 480P/1080I. thanks

just install the 67.66 beta drivers from nvidia's nzone website

they work great with no powerstrip needed

they have built in underscan adjustment as well

Is it really that easy? What resolution am I suppose to set the tv to. 1920x1080 would be WAY too taxing on the system to play games at a decent level. My tv accepts 720P but converts it to 1080I. Im assuming 1280x720 would work well?
