Yes, but i have not measured. I use pillows at the mouths of my tht's; will get a chance to measure the effects next week. The tht's sound cavernous otherwise, thanks to the close proximity to my mains.....

What type horn? I once completely lined a folded horn to see the effect. Below 200 Hz there was no difference between lined and bare.

Some guys were talking about putting DynaMat or rope caulking on the outside of the horn in the TCA Pro-10 thread.

You can with some work in horn resp create an acoustical capacitance chamber right off of the throat and create a null in the response. But it is not a true crossover type response.


What are you looking for exactly?

You could try using some duct liner.





I've got a bunch of this on my walls under fabric. The one inch thick version has an overall NRC of .7 but less than .08 below 125Hz


You install it with the coated side out.
