Probably dust blob on DMD or inside of lens. Try canned air (just don't invert can or oil will ruin your optic engine and void warranty) with red extension tube between grill near lens. Some used vacuum cleaner attachment to suck that area. This may move dust to noncritical area. Otherwise you may have to send in for cleaning (should be covered under Instacare warranty). This is a very common problem of LT150 or any digital projector for that matter. Some have added filter material to grill but I'd worry about heat build up due to air restriction.

Hey folks,

When viewing dark scenes (in 4:3) or in the black widescreen bars a brighter roundish spot appears. I've tried to block any possible reflections and when I flip the projector the spot follows so I'm assuming the flaw is somewhere inside. Could there be an internal reflection or a bubble in the lens?

Thanks for any suggestions on what I might be experiencing,

Miles
