I would like to convert my CDs to 24/96, but I cannot find any free software to do this.


Does anyone have a suggestion?

Free...no way. I use Batch Converter 5.0 by Sonic Foundry to convert all CDs to 24/96 and playback with Winamp. Most demo-ware will let you upsample and play it...but not save the file.

sox will do it, and is free. I believe that the upsampling algorithm in sox is pretty good, but I've never compared it to any other implementations.
