I have a bluetooth dongle on my computer. Currently, the range is roughly 15 feet. How do extend this distance?

In short? Get a better BT dongle. You need a Class 1 bluetooth dongle for maximum range--up to 100m compared to the max of 10m for Class 2.


Devices are another story (since you can't really upgrade the BT in those); but, a Class 1 transceiver/dongle will generally increase the range of a Class 2 device (i.e. Class 2 device connecting to a Class 1 dongle will give better range than an all Class 2 environment).
