I have a bunch of samples and a pj that is mounted 8' high but can be lowered (to a lower shelf ~6ft.)...I want to measure how bright an image I am actually getting w/ my setup and any changes when/if I move my pj down.
Specifically I'm trying to put a number on the gain of the High Power w/ my two ceiling setup options, and also the firehawk sample I have.
any way to do this? I have a light meter from my smartIII package if that can be used for this. I mean, is it as simple as just pointing the photometer at the screen? Problem is the samples are small and if I move the photometer back from the screen far enough not to be blocking the light w/ the instrument itself, then I'm afraid I'm measuring reflected light off my original screen and any other samples that might be present.
thx
