I have just bought a motorized screen which I intend to run through the parallellport of my HTPC. Has anyone done this?

If yes, how?

Some questions for a start

1. What kind of voltage can I expect out of the parallellport?

2. Where can I find the pinnout of the parallellport?

3. Are there any written software for such a thing?

I don't know about using the parallel port. I control my motorized screen with X-10. X-10 makes a relay that can supply 0-30v instantaniously, or constant. My screen requires 12v constant. I use a 12v DC transformer going into a X-10 relay, which I can control through a serial port of my computer. I also can control it via an IR X-10 interface. I don't know if X-10 is comaptible with Sweden's standard housewiring though.
