i want the surround to come out of the bdve300 off my ps3 i have optical wires,hdmi cabels it must work some how what are the correct settings if anyone no,s could you email me a step by step it would be very helpfull as im pulling my hair out here my email is [email protected] im just geting no surround at all my tv has 4 hdmi and a optical my ps3 has optical,hdmi and the bdve300 has optical and hdmi all my units go from there to tv via hdmi and my ps3 optical goes to bdve while it still runs a hdmi to the tv

Connect optical cable from PS3 to bdve300

Go to PS3 Menu and set the following:

Sound Setting ... Digital Out set to "Optical" and checked off "Dolby Digital 5.1" and "DTS 5.1" and "AAC".


BD Audio Output Format ... Optical Digital & HDMI set to "Bitstream"
