probably simple question, but how can i control the dtc100 reciver located in another room?

RCA (and others) make an infrared repeater/receiver that responds to your remote from any room in the house. $50. Works really well.

I was looking at this today. Leapfrog will allow you to do this using your existing phone lines with interuption of your phone serivce. Haven't tried it but I it looks good. If not return it!

Recently purchased the RCA remote signal sender from Wal-Mart,in their RCA-DSS asessory section.Works great.$35-40.

Radio Shack has them. 40 bucks. Works quite well.

Can people confirm that the RCA remote sender works with the ReplayTV, or are people just using them for their DirectTV boxes?

The RCA is an infrared repeater device,so it works with any infrared remote system.Not sure about Replay TV,however.

I purchased a ZENITH infrared remote device (ZSD-100 for $28.03 + $8.60 SH) from VSS Electronics (go to yahoo!shopping and search for ZSD-100). It has been serving me very well.
