I have a PnY 6600 non-GT that has one VGA and one DVI-D out. I'm using the DVI-D to plug into the DVI input on a CRT projector. The drivers are pretty recent, about a month old.

I can't seem to figure out how to get anything but 60hz or 75hz out of the DVI-D. I can add a custom resolution and select 72hz and everything indicates I'm using a 1440x960 @ 72hz, but when I go into my projector menu to find out what refresh rate it's getting, it tells me it's seeing 60hz.

This works fine using the VGA out to RGBHV in on my projector, just not the DVI.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eddie

I have a 4805 with a DVI hookup and the only way I could do it was to use PowerStrip . Even then it has some problem, like you can't setup profile shortcuts to change the refresh rates, you have to manually go deep into the menus to change them, so for me I don't even bother with PS anymore and just leave it at 60hz.
