Probably a dumb question but anyway... I am using both VGA and DVI outputs on my 6600GT card. But I also want to get the playback on a TV that I have in the room above my media room. So I was thinking of using the TV out dongle that came with the card, problem is the software only supports dual view which means it's either the TV out or the VGA, the DVI is plugged into by PJ.

Can anyone recommend the cheapest way to go about getting the playback on another TV in the house? Is a media server the only way to go?

Thanks.

Use a VGA splitter cable and an audio splitter cable. You will get some signal loss with the VGA splitter but unless you have long cable runs it should not be a problem. I have used one where the second VGA display was using a 25 foot cable. Of course this solution requires that the other TV also has a VGA connection
