Just finishing my basement and I would like to add some inceiling speakers for general background music. Im thinkink of putting a pair in the play room, bar and workout area. I have no idea what kind of reciever to use or how to wire the speakers. There will be 6 speakers in all. I would like to be able to turn off the volume in the different areas but dont have a need to be able to play different sources at the same time in the different rooms. I have no idea how to go about this. Any help would be awsome.

Thanks

Sean

Check out these guys www.htd.com

I have two of their 6 zone advanced systems in the house.

But for your basement alone, this is what I would consider @ $369 with wall mounted volume controls, http://www.htd.com/whole-house-audio/basic

Something to look at, along with their in ceiling speakers. You should be able to have a nice 3 area/room system for around $600.

Like I said, they have very nice gear, and their customer support is incredible to say the least. Great people to work with and I would highly recommend them.
