I have a Denon DVD-2200 that I would like to make region free. Does anyone know if it would require any firmware, hardware, software or a combination of the 3.


Where would I be able to get the stuff to make it region free?

I got mine Region free via a software update, which a store preformed, it took 20 sec.

This series (Denon 2xxx) must either be hardware modified or firmware modified. AFAIK, nobody has made a hardware mod. Goto dvdrhelp.com and search for the 2200 in the dvdhacks section. There is now firmware floating around.
