Hi,

I just moved to a NEC6PG from a Barco BG800. I tried to sell the Barco with no takers. So I want to place ithe Barco in storage (in my cool basement) for when it may be called into service in the next several years.

What are some precautionary steps that I should take. Its in a crate thats well padded.

Thanks

clopez,

As long is it is not a damp area that will cause mildew/mold you should be ok. If you are worried that it will mold, I can store it. I would love to have a backup BG800:D

I would power it up every few months for a few hours to keep the tubes alive. Other than that, a lack of dampness and that's about it.

Garrick, it's a little known fact that if you put two Barcos from the same litter (reseller) together, you get little Runcos (Barco wannabes) in no time..;-)
