Here is a question I have never seen asked, and I couldn't find it in a search. How do you clean your HDTV screen? Is there any products which someone should use to clean it, and some people should stay away from? I have a Toshiba TW40x81, and didn't want to risk ruining it. Thanx

I use "Mitsubishi RPTV screen cleaner", which I purchased from my local service tech (I figured it wouldn't hurt my Panasonic...;-). You can buy it directly from Mitsubishi, however, if you have a Fry's nearby, they sell a screen cleaner that is alcohol and ammonia free, which should work nicely. I've seen it at the checkout stand at the Fry's here in Fremont.

Discwasher makes a specific RPTV screen cleaner for $$19.99 retail. It includes 2 pads and a 6 oz spray bottle. They give instructions for judicious use and I've had good success using it on my Philips' 60" widescreen (I've long since removed the 'more-glare' protective screen)
