Apparently, there was a kink in the HVAC flex duct, so the HVAC guys had to cut out a section of double drywall and Green Glue to straighten it out. The area isn't that big- probably 1' long by 6" wide. How do I go about fixing it? Glue two layers of drywall together with construction glue and just repair as normal? I assume, for that small of an area, that I wouldn't need to use Green Glue between the two sheets in the repair area.
