How do I run compnent from htpc? Is there a way to trick the lt150 to think that it has a component cable hooked up? I know, I know, this is a lame question =).
No, you will not - tell your DVD player the projector is a 16:9 monitor and it will output a vertically stretched picture which the Panamorph will compress again, restoring normal proportions.
If you are using an HTPC, it has the flexibility to perform its own aspect ratio control, either within the player software (WinDVD, PowerDVD, ATI Player, etc.) or using third party free software ( Jim Ferguson's YXY ). The quality of the scaling performed by the HTPC will likely be superior to any aspect ratio control performed by the projector itself.
