How does Denon 4310 compare to 3808, 4308?

Anyone know how the new units stack up against the old models?

Wanted a 3808 but they're all gone. Would I be better off with the 4310 or the 4308?

There are a bunch of new features with the new series. Generally it depends on your needs. If you go to Denon's site, they have the ability of selecting and comparing the models and all the models are up there.

My opinion, the AVR4310CI is better than the 3808 in all ways, the 4308 however has a bit better amp section (though again features of the 10 series are better).

These sly buggers from Denon have taken the 4308A of their product list, so you can only find it in the discontinued section. But it is still possible to compare these two almost identical units.

I've looked at the website, but it's hard for me to pick out the nuances. It will replace my Denon 3802. Interested in satellite/internet radio capability and wireless features. Mostly I want the HDMI connections

As for video processing does it matter if I have an XBR6 set and a PS3 blu-ray to do the upscaling?

What do you recommend? May be able to pick up a 3808 for $750 or a 4308 for $1,400.
