Was wondering about this since the Momitsu 880 apparently allows you to choose different Hz for the picture resolution. I've ordered mine but haven't received it yet. Does anyone have a link that explains it, or can explain here within this thread? Is is more better or less better?

Thanks.

This may or may not be helpful, but from a computer aspect: the higher the Hertz, the less flicker you'll have with your monitor. The higher the refresh rate (85 or higher) the better. Don't know if this will help at all

I doubt hertz really affects the resolution. It just refresh the screen. I say 75 Hz on computer screen is great and eliminate flickers. ABover 75 Hz, say 85 Hz is better if you think 75 Hz still annoys you. Beyong that is unnoticeable.

HDTV runs at 60 Hz either in progressive scan or interlaced.

NTSC runs at 480i interlaced of 60 Hz.

EDTV runs at 480p of 60hz.
