The 1403 fills a certain niche. It's obviously designed for those who need a slimmer receiver for lack of space. The 1403 doesn't really offer too much over the 1402 so you might want to review both feature sets to determine which model meets your requirements. The 1402 is going for $250-300 right now and a good deal (no networking however).
Dont need networking, dont need airplay, 3d pass through, 7.1 or even 5.1 just looking for a hdmi receiver with nice connections for a 3.1 setup!!!! Most important thing im looking for is great internals and pure clean sound!!!
