I like to play CoD black ops will these do for being able to hear behind me?


Also when I play music I want to be able to feel the bass in my chest when a song is playing. How loud will it be able to go?


I'm a newb so I don't know what all the stuff means in the info.

The room ill have it in is 16 feet by 10 feet with a 8-9 foot ceiling.

It all depends on what you want. The receiver doesn't support lossless audio so if you'll be watching Blu-rays, and that's important to your audio experience, you're out of luck. The specs don't say that the sub-woofer is powered or gets its power from the receiver. That will make a difference in the bass response. It has HDMI pass-thru but is that High Speed for all the HDMI inputs/output? Are the speaker connections wire clip-ins or banana-style? That makes a difference if you like the receiver but want to upgrade your speakers later on.
