Looks like a decent deal if they give you the serial for Windows and it's legit.


If you want to compare then make a wishlist on newegg.com and see how much similar components come out. If you can't/don't want to build your own then it's a good deal either way.


Also depends on the case/power supply brand.



Honestly for 240 it's a decent deal any way you slice it.

That is a good deal, if the Win7 is legit. I just did two builds using that motherboard (desktops, not HTPC), and it seems to be a great board.
any limitations? I plan to use it to watch/record OTA tv, internet, and possibly rip/watch blu ray. Would be hooked up to onkyo 605 through hdmi and 720p plasma.


tv card would have to be bought as would a blu ray. Or does it make more sense just to build from scratch? Don't really want to spend too much on it.
Yeah, it should play everything except 3D blu-ray. You will have to get surround sound off of spdif.
