for people with a logitech z5500 and a spl meter, can someone check how many db are the speakers producing at 2 bars of volume 2 feet away with regular pop music? 4 bars? thx alot i'm wondering if im damaging my ears with this volume.

Need to get your own meter. You can get a cheap radio shack one that should do the job.

Reason being, too many things vary... room gain for certain frequencies, particular frequencies being boosted in the music (which varies by song, let alone by genre), and most important is that the source's output volume may vary. Along with this you would also have to take into consideration the distance and orientation around the system.

i'm just curious. i dont wanna waste 50 bucks just to know something like that

i tried to eliminate some variables like room gain by choosing pop music, i stated the distance

most of my songs have similar volumes, can i just have a range?
