How many BD-Exclusive VC1 releases are there really, on Bluray?

It's a question I have been asking lately, as I would like to include them in my VC1 codec comparison thread.

But it seems pretty darned difficult to find that many. Warner does VC1 for both formats, which is great, but so far it seems that Disney is the only BD-exclusive studio that has decided to provide VC1 encodes.

So far I have only found the following, which I'd like to expand on. Please post any others that you know of:

Deja Vu (Buena Vista)

Casanova (Buena Vista)

Flight Plan (Buena Vista)

The Queen (Buena Vista)

Am I correct that of the various BD releases, there are just 4 BD-Exclusive discs that are VC1?

I'm not sure who wrote what (since DrDon edited a few of the posts). However, I agree that this question is relevant.

Microsoft initially optimized the VC-1 authoring tools for HD-DVD (just read Amir's comments). The common practise for companies using VC-1 was to encode the HD-DVD version, and then port it to a Blu-ray compatible version. If we are seeing higher bitrate Blu-ray exclusive VC-1 encodes, then that implies the VC-1 toolsets have evolved to better support Blu-ray. That would be good news for Blu-ray (VC-1 is a solid codec opition).

Let me guess: "prove" VC-1 looks better and thus declare HD DVD is better since it pretty much uses VC-1 as standard.

But rdjam, how will you spin things if high-bitrate Blu-ray VC-1 encodes turn out to be some of the best looking VC-1 titles? The only way your agenda can be furthered is if VC-1 is the best codec AND it doesn't benefit from having an increased bitrate beyond HD DVD levels. Tight rope to walk.

And lets not overlook the silliness is comparing different encodes of different movies to judge codec quality. Esepcially when something CGI heavy is one of your shining examples (king kong). Just silly.

If you really want to compare VC-1 and AVC I humbly suggest Batman Begins (VC-1) vs. Prestige (AVC). Same director, same cinematographer. Still not very scientific, but at least it's there's a shred of equality in the source.

With respect, the question I've asked is a simple one. Comparisons are in other threads.

Can we confirm then that Disney's 4 releases listed in the OP are the only BD-Exclusive VC1 releases, then?

If anyone knows of any other BD-exclusive VC1 releases, please add them here.
