They could probably get a very accurate count of "active" units based on how many unique units dial in regularly, but I doubt they would release such information at this stage of the game.

Not to be cynical, but this survey may be flawed. I've noticed that not only are people from this forum not commenting, but there MAY be a few people who own Replays that don't read this forum. Does anyone else think this is possible?

I have a 2020 and bought a 2030 from a guy online but he stole my money and now ignores my emails.


I paid him $325 with paypal on 9/19/00 and since he has his phone disconnected, and ignores the emails ( [email protected] ) BUT I know he READS his email because I sent one from another email account with some fake question and he replied!


Could you guys PLEASE email him and tell him to send my damn unit or refund my money? He's in Tampa, Fla.

I agree in the fact that TiVo advertises a lot more than Replay. I have only seen a replay commercial once, but I have seen TiVo commercials a lot. Also, TiVo sometimes sponsers programs, and gets additional ad time.
