Hi everyone. I have an infocus 735 lcd projector. It has a yellow "blob" a little down from center on the screen. It is not a dust particle. Everything within the blob has a yellow cast to it. It's pretty big. Infocus tech support says it is probably the LCD panel (warped due to heat.) I keep it ventilated, and clean the filters, but who knows...

Anyway here is the deal. It's 90 dollars plus parts to fix it. They won't give an estimate for free. The estimate will cost 120 dollars, which they will not charge if I have it fixed, or just let them keep the thing. So....who much would it take to repair the LCD panel? Anyone have a rough price?

Thanks guys,

Are you saying they won't tell you what the LCD panel costs? I'd call back ask to speak to the supervisor. This is a very simple question that requires a straight-forward answer. It is not an "estimate".
