I got overbilled this month because I changed around my subscription. I was assured that I would get a credit next bill.
EDIT: also, premiums co$t alot of money. You may consider turning off some of your premiums and saving a couple bucks. I don't watch sports so I took off sports. I am deciding which ONE premium to keep and right now it's a close one between HBO and Starz!. I may keep Starz! because of the DD movies and I don't really like series like Sex and the City and mind of the married man anyway.

I'm thinking of reducing my bill and sending the savings on dvd's instead.
You sound like a candidate for BEV. You could probably drop your bill by two-thirds. Just no FL locals.
Our FL 13% DBS services tax rate is stupid! Highest in the country, according to D*
I wrote to the state and asked what I was getting for my money, as the state does very little to regulate DBS. Their response was a bunch of B.S. that basically stated it goes to pay for telephone regulation for both residential and business, then other things in a minor way, if I understood correctly. And they seemed quite proud of this recent "major overhaul" of the utilities regulation tax.
