How much room do I need for two rows of theater seating. My room dimensions are 158" wide x 200" long. I have a 109" screen at one end and blackout curtains at the other end. I currently have a large sofa with recliners at both ends, and I'm considering an upgrade to a single row of a curved chair/loveseat/chair configuration. I would like to have two rows (chair/loveseat/chair for back row and a row of three chairs in front of them), but my gut feeling is the front row whould be too close to the screen.

Berkline reclining HT seating needs about 6 1/2 ft for full operation. If the back row is non reclining you can get by with less. If you use non reclining seating for the back row you can probably get by with a 5 ft deep riser (or less for real theater seating). That would put the back of the front row at 11.67 ft from the screen or eyes at about 11 when reclined. If you are using a 1080P projector this can work just fine.
