How...Should I reset my new NEC XG135

Hey guys,

Just picked up my third CRT projector, an NEC 1350. The tubes are heavily worn, but I'm still getting a pretty good picture.

I'm having to use quite a bit of point convergence, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to do a hard reset (and how to perform this) before I go all out with my setup using Guy Kuo's technique. There are about 20 memory slots already used on the projector from its corporate days.

Even with the worn tubes, this beast destroys my Sanyo PLV-Z1 d***** pj, and hopefully I'll get some VDC reuilds in the near future.

Thanks for all the great info in the forum.

I would delete every thing above line 5 and enter your signal into a temporary memory. Starting fresh from scratch should solve your convergence problem given that the PJ is physically installed properly relative to your screen. Resetting EPROM should be avoided.
