Hi all, I'm about to order my very first hdmi cables and I'm wondering: How thick should I expect a 22 awg cable to be? I mean, I read at wikipedia that its diameter is 0.0253 inch, but that's just for the core, right? How much is it all?

I have one of the Monoprice 3751 35' 22g HDMI cables for my system. It's just over of 1/2" of an inch in diameter (total) and fairly stiff.

Their spec says:

Overall Diameter: 12mm (1/2") Connector head measures 3/4"

But, maybe it just feels bigger. It's definitely substantial.
