Please help. I am creating a photo/video show for my son's graduation. I will be using video from my Panasonic h200 camcorder which records MPEG2 files and uses AC3 audio. The software I am using for my show does not support AC3 so none of the audio can be heard. How can I convert the audio from AC3? Do I just convert the whole file to a different video file type? Which one?

I know I can extract the audio and convert it but then how do I merge it back with the video file? (if this is the way to go).

Please help. I am fairly new to all this video editing.

Thanks for any help.

I am using Magix PhotoStory and I have been in contact with their support and they have confirmed that it just will not support AC3. I guess I'll just try extracting the audio into a different file format and adding the audio separately to my presentation. Hopefully the audio will sync with the video.
