Don't even bother with the hours, the meter on them is so easily reset you can assume that it has been tampered with. Just go by the condition of the tubes. If, however, you want to look for curiosity's sake, go to the Adjustment menu, and pick the hour meter or run time option. If you are restricted from accessing these features, you will need to disable the former password. To do this, enter 2580 as a password when prompted. As for scratches on the lenses, don't worry unless they are REALLY REALLY DEEP and wide. The image is projected through the lenses, so the scratches don't show up in the projected image unless it is so big as to change the nature of the lense. Any projector I've had, scratches have not affected the image in the least.
