you need to be in the service mode. from the keypad or remote: enter, enter, up, down, enter. I think you have to scroll down to the last line to find the crt info. If you can get the lens off you should look at the tubes. The lens are very easy to take off.

But I do not know where theses lens are?


I am a complete newbie and do not want to ruin anything. I took the cover off and was very confused!

I could not see anything that looked like the link above (curt palmers guide)

Hello,


I'm assuming you're asking because looking at buying a used projector off of someone. If you have absolutely no idea what to check or what to look for, or where the lenses are, then I would suggest to you that you buy a CRT projector from a reputable reseller instead.


CRT's are a bit to work to set up as well. Are you sure you're willing to do this?

The tube faces are behind each of the 3 lenses on your projector.

If you look through the glass lenses with a flashlight, you should see something like .


But if you take the lenses off, you'll get a better look at the tube faces, like
.
