The HiPix HDTV card has a VGA/HD output, and I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with connecting such a source to the PC1 input vs. the PC2 input with a 5 BNC breakout cable connected to the VGA plug.


What yields the best results?


Can the PC1 input display a 720p or 1080i input?

Hi NAD,


I had the HiPix connected to Comp1 on my G11 for a while before getting my 5 BNC breakout cable and connecting it to Comp2.


I posted here when making the switch (can't find the post now, though) and mentioned that I couldn't really tell a difference between the two...they both really looked fantastic!


In an A/B comparison switching back and forth, my fiance picked the Comp1 VGA input, and I picked the Comp2 BNC input (when she was switching for me). We both agreed that it was hard to tell which was better.


I was happy with both configurations!


(I say "was" as I am using an AccessDTV card currently).

Now that you have had the ADTV card for a while, how does the performance of the card compare with the Hipix?


My interest is in quality of the picture, and performance of the decoder with strong and weak signals, and lastly the recording functions.
